The breeding activities are supported by state of the art pathology, molecular and tissue culture labs. We are looking for a dynamic Agronomist cum Station Manager to lead and manage our Research & Development (R&D) station operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about crop science, experienced in field research, and capable of overseeing all R&D station activities, including field trials, data collection, and team coordination.

Roles & Responsibilities

-Manage day-to-day operations of the R&D station including staff, schedules, field activities, and resources.

-Design, execute, and monitor field trials for various crops (breeding, agronomy, seed production, etc.).

-Ensure precise data collection, analysis, and reporting on research plots and trials.

-Collaborate with plant breeders, pathologists, and other technical teams to meet R&D goals.

-Maintain compliance with biosafety and quality standards.

-Supervise labor management, inventory of inputs, farm machinery usage, and station maintenance.

-Coordinate trials in different agro-climatic zones if applicable.

-Ensure proper irrigation, crop protection, and best agronomic practices at the station.

-Support the evaluation of new hybrids/varieties and prepare technical reports for internal review.
