The company uses its AI-powered Albatros platform to identify microorganisms and food-waste feedstocks for producing functional, clean-label ingredients.
Its key products include MOA Q5, an egg substitute, and MOA Yeast, which improves the taste, texture and stability of plant-based foods. The ingredients are being used across meat alternatives, bakery products, snacks and pet food. With the latest funding, MOA’s total financing has reached €12.3 million, including grants and equity.
The company plans to expand sales, support commercial launches and nearly double fermentation capacity from 120,000 to 225,000 litres. It is also developing applications in probiotics, postbiotics, nutraceuticals and mental wellbeing while expanding its technology licensing model.

At a Dairy Queen outlet in Shanghai, its robot can autonomously complete a 55-step Blizzard Treat preparation workflow using the same tools, equipment and workspace as human employees. The system combines planning, execution, state assessment and self-correction to maintain reliable operation without continuous human control.
The company aims to use the new funding to accelerate R&D, expand its talent base and move from technical validation toward commercial deployment. Sharpa plans to initially expand across food service and other commercial applications, with longer-term ambitions for general-purpose robots in homes and other human environments.
ProducePay Raises $140M+ to Expand Global Fresh Produce Financing and Digital Platform
ProducePay has secured more than $140 million in combined equity and new lending capacity to accelerate its global expansion across Latin America, Europe, Northern Africa and North America. The equity round was led by Avenue Capital and Astanor, while the new lending fund is supported by AgAide, Thiele Capital Management and Millennium Capital.

Aflabox Raises €1.35M to Scale Portable AI-Powered Aflatoxin Detection Across Africa
Italian AgTech startup Aflabox has raised €1.35 million in seed funding to scale its portable technology for rapid aflatoxin and mycotoxin detection in agricultural supply chains. The company combines UV and white-light imaging, artificial intelligence, geolocation and cloud-based dashboards to assess grain quality in less than 90 seconds.
Its technology aims to bring testing closer to farms, collection centres and processors, particularly in regions where laboratory infrastructure and rapid testing facilities are limited. Aflabox has already supplied 20 devices to the World Food Programme in Kenya and completed an initial validation phase for its AI-based system.
The new funding will support device validation and certification, commercial expansion in Kenya, Nigeria and Italy, and development of a micro-factory for manufacturing its units. AutoNXT Unveils Autonomous Electric Aero Tiller for Smarter Precision Farming
Indian agritech company AutoNXT has introduced its Autonomous Electric Aero Tiller, combining electric propulsion, autonomous navigation, precision technology and cloud-based connectivity for automated field operations. The machine uses electric traction motors, a high-capacity lithium battery and intelligent implement controls to automate tasks with minimal human intervention.
Its autonomous system can plan field coverage, perform headland turns, avoid obstacles and resume operations after interruptions. Designed for biomass mixing, soil aeration, seedbed preparation and crop residue incorporation, it continuously monitors ground speed, working depth and wheel slip for consistent field performance.
The tiller features a 1.8-metre working width, up to 180 mm working depth, 36 heavy-duty aerator blades and speeds of up to 5 kmph. With a field capacity of up to 1.5 acres per hour and a weight of around 450 kg, the compact machine is designed for demanding farm applications.
AutoNXT says the integration of electrification, automation and connected monitoring could reduce operating costs, improve operational consistency and support more sustainable mechanisation.

Escorts Kubota has marked three decades of its Farmtrac brand in India with the launch of the 6055 Classic ‘Dark Edition’ and two new PROMAXX 2.0 models. The 55 HP 6055 Classic is Farmtrac’s first all-black tractor and is available in both 2WD and 4WD variants.
It features a four-cylinder, 3,682 cc engine producing up to 247 Nm of torque and a 2,500 kg hydraulic lift for demanding farm operations. The PROMAXX 2.0 range adds the 47 HT PROMAXX and 50 PROMAXX, powered by a 3,514 cc high-torque engine delivering up to 230 Nm of torque.
Both models offer 12 forward and three reverse gears, creeper speed options and 2WD and 4WD variants. The launches target growing demand for higher-torque, multi-purpose tractors with improved comfort and modern features among progressive farmers.
Carbon Robotics Launches Autonomy-Ready Program to Integrate Farm Implements with AI Tractors
